Santa and Mrs Claus will be arriving in Ballycanew on the 9th December, around 7pm.   Santa has informed the page that, he will be parking the Reindeer up at Smyths cross, and transferring onward to the village.  The Reindeer will be tired from their long journey and are delighted to park up at Deveraux’s farm, where they are usually left out some food and hay.

Santa, is delighted to be returning to the village and is looking forward to meeting all the boys and girls in the area.

Don’t forget everyone our Christmas Bazaar is taking place DECEMBER 9TH 3-5pm. We have lots and lots of wonderful stalls

The East Wing will have their own stall with lots of items suiting everyone from babies to teenagers. Make sure to drop by and try to support as all monies raised will go directly to the East Wing.

Mr O Connor and our school choir are looking forward to performing some lovely songs for you on the night, they are always wonderful and we cannot wait to hear them.

We have some fantastic sponsors this year who have donated fantastic prizes. Keep an eye out on our page as they will be announced in the coming days.

Ballyoughter Christmas Concert

The Ballyoughter Christmas Concert is on December 14th in Sacred Heart Church Ballyoughter.  It promises to be a great nights entertainment with the renowned island of Ireland peace choir directed by Dr. Phil Brennan, Local Sopranos Caroline Doyle & Laura Carroll.  Gorey Ukes and the Ballyoughter School Choir. Tickets can be purchased from the school or on the door on the nights.  Adults €10 and Children €5.  Refreshments will be served.
