The Big Switch on Takes place on Saturday 1st December at 4pm.
The Annual Switch on takes place on Saturday, where the village of Ballycanew lights up and our center piece Christmas trees will light up the village again. The lights are thanks to a great bunch of people who over the years have added to the display of lights in the village. This year our 30ft Christmas tree is back in the center of the village, and this year the The local Lights Committee have added a display at the Village Gate, which will really show of the best of the village. The Christmas lights Committee receives no funding, and is run thanks to all of you who support the Split the Pot draw on a weekly basis.
The Christmas lights display is a credit to the rural village in North Wexford, and is enjoyed by many passing people on their journey home
